How your document is handled
What is sent for processing, what is saved in your account and where provider handling is separate.
The data processed depends on the service you choose. Textsure stores account reports privately so you can return to them. Provider processing and retention are separate from your saved Textsure report.
Quick AI
Uploaded files are sent to Textsure for text extraction. Selecting Analyze sends the extracted or pasted text to the language-model provider. The saved account report includes selected excerpts and analysis, not the original uploaded file or complete input text. Account reports have no automatic expiry and can be deleted from their result page.
ZeroGPT
Text is extracted from uploaded files, or supplied by pasting. Analyze sends it to ZeroGPT for AI detection, not plagiarism checking. The private account report includes the reviewed text, provider score and matched highlights; the original uploaded file is not saved with the result. You can delete the Textsure report from its result page.
Turnitin and iThenticate
Files are checked for basic eligibility before submission to the report provider. Temporary staging may be used to make the document available for processing. Orders and report information are associated with your account so you can follow progress and return to completed reports.
For iThenticate, the input is staged in private storage and cleanup is attempted after the order finishes. The completed report PDF is stored privately, and downloads require account ownership checks. Temporary cleanup is not a promise of immediate deletion from every provider system.
Storage is not the same as a comparison repository
Saving a report in My reports does not itself describe whether a provider adds a document to a comparison repository. Repository settings and retention depend on the selected service and provider arrangement. Textsure does not make a blanket no-repository, no-training or provider-deletion guarantee.
Do not upload confidential, unpublished or restricted material unless the applicable handling terms are compatible with your institution’s or research project’s requirements.
Deleting a result
Where a report page provides Delete, it removes the result saved by Textsure. It does not itself delete provider-held records. Report retention, temporary upload cleanup and provider retention are different processes.

Login, payment and website analytics data are separate from document contents. Read the privacy and cookie policies for information about the wider website.
